arcenciel environment program has succeeded in implementing several projects related to water conservation. Thus, in the framework of the "rainbow drop" project in partnership with the UNDP in 2013, water collectors were installed in arcenciel center Taanayel, and in several schools in the Bekaa. Awareness actions (production of a cartoon broadcasted in schools, awareness sessions, posters on the optimal use of water) were also performed, and water reference centers have been created in five arcenciel community centers. Similarly, a project named Sawa (Save Water), funded by HSBC, to promote water technical treatment and water reuse in several schools in Lebanon, is also on going.
On the other hand, as part of its ARD (Agriculture Response for Development) pilot project funded by UNDP, arcenciel is testing various innovative technologies for water conservation in agriculture in its Taanayel Domain. arcenciel is also implementing an integrated water management system in the domain, including various aspects such as the capture, storage, processing, irrigation and drainage, and this in the framework of the "Improvement of infrastructures and support to the food economy in the Bekaa for better access of refugee and host communities to basic services " project, funded by the European Commission.

Promotion of sustainable consumption and management of water resource
Water reference centers were created in 5 community centers: arcenciel-Damour, arcenciel-Halba, arcenciel- Jisr el Bacha, arcenciel- Maaser el Chouf, arcenciel-Tanail.
Different awareness tools related to sustainable water consumption have been designed and translated in 3 languages (English, Arabic and French) and displayed in community centers:
• One animation movie (mainly for children) called “droppy's day out” in English, “Moughamarat Na'outa” in Arabic and “les aventures de Plouf” in French.
• One short movie (mainly for teenagers and adults),
• Posters and stickers, based on a drop-shaped character.
Awareness materials have also been distributed to Kfour Public School and Ave Maria School. Thus, each school has beneficiated from 40 posters, 300 stickers, and one CD with the awareness movies. The movies are available on youtube, on the page bouchons roulants. Awareness activities were provided to About 200 pupils having between 9 and 14 years old
